How will I access the course?

What happens if I can't finish the course within the set period?

The set period is only the minimum duration, and you have lifetime access to the course, allowing you to complete it at your own pace. Unlike other institutions, we do not charge any extension fees.

What type of exams are included in the course?

The course includes self-assessment MCQs for each module, which you can attempt multiple times. There is no final examination at the end of the course.

What happens if I fail the quiz?

Since there are only self-assessment MCQs, you will be given free additional attempts.

Is clinical observership mandatory?

The clinical observership is optional, and is available only for post-MBBS fellowships. Students gain extensive knowledge through numerous online case studies, and each video lesson includes a Q&A section with an image attachment option. This allows students to interact with experts, discuss cases, and receive answers to their questions, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience.

Where can I do clinical observership?

Clinical observership is available for post-MBBS fellowship courses. We offer one-month clinical placements in our affiliated hospitals. Additionally, if you don’t want to join our affiliated hospitals, we can provide a recommendation letter to assist you in securing a placement at a hospital near you.

How will I receive my certificate?

You will receive a hard copy of your certificate by post, complete with a hologram to ensure authenticity and security.

Which documents do I need to submit?

For Certificate Courses: Submit any one of the following: a one-year marksheet, admission letter, or college ID card that proves you are a healthcare degree student or have completed it. For Fellowship Programs: Submit your bachelor's degree marksheets, degree certificate, and either a temporary license (if you are an intern) or a permanent license (if you have completed your degree).

When and how do I submit my required documents?

Documents are required before issuing your certificate. You don’t need to submit them during registration. After completing your course, send an email with your required documents.

How long does it take to issue the certificate?

It takes 7 to 14 working days to issue the certificate once we receive your documents after you complete the course.

Which courses are available for AYUSH doctors?

As AYUSH doctor, you are eligible to enroll in our certificate courses and Fellowships in Integrated Medicine, for example—the Fellowship in Family Medicine - Integrated Medicine. Upon completion, you can use the suffix F.F.M. (Integrated Medicine). Please note that the standard Fellowships, such as the Fellowship in Family Medicine (F.F.M.), are exclusively available to MBBS graduates.

Are the courses NMC Approved?

The certificates are awarded by Virtued Academy International, an autonomous organization registered with the Government of India. While our courses are not NMC-approved because the online/blended certificate/fellowship courses don’t typically require such approval, we maintain transparency and hold accreditation from esteemed institutions, including IAOTH, UK; and IRAP. Upon completion of the courses, you may use the suffix to enhance your credentials. The Code of Medical Ethics Regulations, 2002 (Refer 1.4.2) also guides that physicians shall display as suffix to their names only recognized medical degrees or such certificates/diplomas and memberships/honours which confer professional knowledge or recognize any exemplary qualification/achievements.

Does completing your courses grant me immediate eligibility to practice?

Our courses are thoughtfully designed to enhance your skills, knowledge, and professional development, providing valuable certifications that support your career growth. However, it's important to note that possessing our course completion certificate, diploma, or fellowship alone does not directly grant practicing eligibility. Given the nature of digital delivery, the Digital Products cannot be returned, undelivered, or recalled once access has been granted. By purchasing, you acknowledge this irrevocable nature of digital goods and expressly waive any right to a refund on these grounds.

Under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, digital goods and services that have been accessed or downloaded may be excluded from standard return and refund obligations. 🚫 Absolute No-Refund Rule

We do not issue refunds under any circumstances once payment has been confirmed and access to the Digital Product has been granted. This applies regardless of whether the learner has accessed the content, completed any portion of the course, or submitted any assignments or assessments. The no-refund policy is absolute and unconditional.

The following specific circumstances, without limitation, do not entitle you to a refund:

You changed your mind after purchasing.
You enrolled in a course you are not eligible for, even if the eligibility criteria is clearly stated on the course landing page.
You did not read or understand the course description, curriculum, or eligibility requirements before purchasing.
You are dissatisfied with the content, faculty, delivery, or format of the course.
You experienced technical difficulties accessing the content (contact us for support).
You purchased a course by mistake or without authorisation.
You are unable to complete the course due to personal, professional, or medical reasons.
You did not use or access the course after purchasing.
Your internet connection, device, or software is incompatible with the Platform.
The course did not meet your expectations or career objectives.
You obtained similar content from another source after purchasing.

By completing payment, you represent that you have read, understood, and irrevocably agreed to this no-refund policy.

Non-Transferability of Enrolment

Your enrolment in any course on this Platform is strictly personal and non-transferable. The following are expressly prohibited:

Transferring your enrolment or login access to another person.
Sharing your account credentials with any third party.
Requesting that the amount paid be credited or applied toward a different course (except as stated in Section 4).
Requesting a transfer to a future batch or cohort of the same course.
Requesting that a co-enrollee or substitute participant take your place.

🔒 Violations Will Result in Termination

Any attempt to transfer, sublicence, or share access constitutes a material breach of this Policy and our Terms of Use. We reserve the right to immediately terminate your access without notice and without any refund, credit, or compensation whatsoever.

Limited Exception — Eligibility Mismatch

This is the sole and narrowly defined exception to our no-refund policy. If a learner has enrolled in a course for which they do not meet the stated eligibility criteria (as clearly published on the course landing page at the time of purchase), the following one-time accommodation may be offered at our sole discretion:

✅ Eligibility Mismatch — Course Swap (Within 14 Days)

The learner may request, within 14 calendar days of the original purchase date, to have the amount paid adjusted against the fee of another eligible course available on the Platform. This accommodation is subject to the following strict conditions:

(i) The request must be made in writing to contact@virtued.in within 14 calendar days of purchase;
(ii) The learner must not have accessed more than 10% of the course content;
(iii) The learner must provide documentary proof of their actual qualifications;
(iv) The accommodation is available once only per learner per lifetime on this Platform;
(v) If the new course fee is higher, the difference must be paid in full before access is granted;
(vi) If the new course fee is lower, no refund or credit note will be issued for the difference;
(vii) This accommodation is offered purely as a goodwill gesture and shall not be construed as an admission of any obligation to refund, nor does it create any precedent or entitlement for any future accommodation.

No other exceptions exist. No other circumstance, representation, or promise — whether made by a sales counsellor, support agent, or any other representative — shall entitle a learner to a refund or credit beyond what is expressly stated in this Section.

EMI and Instalment Payments

Where a learner opts for a zero-cost EMI or instalment payment plan, the following terms apply:

The EMI plan constitutes a binding instalment payment agreement. Once the first instalment is processed, all subsequent instalments are automatically due and payable as per the agreed schedule.
No refund, credit, or cancellation of any instalment will be issued regardless of whether the learner continues to use or access the course.
Failure to pay any instalment on the due date will result in suspension of access to the course until all overdue amounts are cleared in full.
The learner remains liable for all outstanding instalments even if access to the course is suspended or terminated for breach of this Policy or the Terms of Use.
We are not liable for any charges, penalties, or interest levied by your bank or payment processor in connection with the EMI arrangement.

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment processor in connection with a purchase made on this Platform:

⚠️ Fraudulent Chargeback Policy

Initiating a chargeback without a valid basis constitutes fraud and a material breach of this Policy and our Terms of Use. We reserve the right to:

(i) Immediately and permanently terminate your access to the Platform and all courses, without notice and without any refund;
(ii) Provide your bank or payment processor with full evidence of your purchase, access logs, and this Policy to contest the chargeback;
(iii) Recover all costs, fees, and damages incurred by us as a result of the chargeback, including bank fees, legal fees, and administrative costs;
(iv) Pursue available legal remedies under applicable law including the Indian Penal Code and Information Technology Act.

Legitimate payment disputes due to unauthorised transactions should be reported to us directly at contact@virtued.in before raising a chargeback with your bank.

Technical Issues and Platform Disruptions

Technical difficulties do not entitle you to a refund. Our obligation is limited to making reasonable efforts to restore access. Temporary platform disruptions, scheduled maintenance, or third-party service outages (including hosting providers, video platforms, or payment gateways) do not constitute grounds for a refund or cancellation.

We provide lifetime access to all purchased courses. Temporary technical issues will be resolved and do not affect your long-term access entitlement.

No Oral Modifications — Representations by Sales Staff

⚠️ Sales Staff Cannot Override This Policy

No employee, sales counsellor, support agent, contractor, or representative of Virtued Academy International has the authority to orally or informally modify, waive, or override this Policy. Any representation, promise, or assurance made by any staff member regarding refunds, transfers, or cancellations — whether in person, by telephone, WhatsApp, email, or any other channel — that conflicts with this written Policy is null and void and shall not be binding on Virtued Academy International.

This Policy constitutes the entire agreement between you and Virtued Academy International with respect to cancellations and refunds, and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous representations, understandings, and agreements.

Governing Law, Jurisdiction, and Dispute Resolution

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this Policy, including any question regarding its existence, validity, or termination, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, India.

You expressly and irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Azamgarh, U.P., India, and waive any objection to the venue or jurisdiction of such courts. You further agree that any proceedings shall be conducted in the English language.

Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at contact@virtued.in and allow us a period of 30 calendar days to resolve the matter amicably.

Modifications to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify, amend, or update this Policy at any time at our sole discretion without prior notice. The updated Policy will be posted on the Platform with a revised date. Your continued use of the Platform following the posting of any changes constitutes your irrevocable acceptance of those changes. It is your responsibility to review this Policy periodically.
